PCIM Digital Days 2021
Spring is usually the time when we visit big trade shows and events related to electronics, renewable energy, measurement technology and the automotive industry. Like already in 2020, live shows were postponed and finally cancelled due to COVID.
All the more we have been excited to at least participate in an online event again – the PCIM Europe Digital Days. It’s the world’s leading exhibition and conference for power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy, and energy management. Usually, it takes place in Nuremberg, Germany – this time, the members of our team joined the event from their home offices.
The platform
The PCIM Digital Days are structured like a social network. As a visitor and exhibitor, you get an overview of all registered participants and can get in touch with them. You can either write a message, directly start a video call or propose a date for a meeting. In your profile, you can enter topics you are interested in. Additionally, to search for contacts on your own, the platform offers a “matchmaking”. By comparing interests, an algorithm shows the contacts that might be of interest for you.
When “visiting” a company booth, you don’t see a classical booth. Each company page is also rather structured like a profile on social media. A catchy title picture, some information about the company, an overview of the most important products and the possibility to download brochures give visitors a general overview. The available team members can directly be contacted via the company booth.
In addition to the exhibition area, PCIM Digital Days also provides free webinars and a conference area providing technical lectures about power electronics, renewable energy, e-mobility and many more topics.
Our Power Analyzer at PCIM
We presented our Mixed Signal Power Analyzer DEWE3-PA8 at the PCIM. With up to 16 power phases, a sample rate of 10 MS/s/ch at 18 bit and a constantly low measurement error of 0.03 % the DEWE3-PA8 is the best solution for precise power analysis!

PS: Besides being present on a trade show, this is also a good chance to do some internal networking with colleagues when the event is over. Instead of having dinner together, this time our marketing and sales team celebrated a virtual after show party. 😊
