STANDARDIZED DATA INPUT PROTOCOLS
ETHERNET UDP RECEIVER
Do you have UDP data sources that you would like to use in OXYGEN? The Ethernet receiver is your solution. It decodes UDP packets into OXYGEN channels, allowing visualization and recording alongside your other data.
It supports multiple receiver instances, uses a simple XML decoding structure for packet descriptions, and offers time synchronization with timestamp decoding.
MODBUS TCP CLIENT
Read and store data from MODBUS TCP clients. The MODBUS TCP client allows you to monitor and analyze data from devices under test (DUT) to compare internal states with measured values, making OXYGEN a powerful monitoring tool for MODBUS. Ideal for applications like solar inverters, power converters, or energy monitors.
OPC-UA-CLIENT
Connect to external data sources with the OPC UA Client and bring process data directly into OXYGEN for visualization, recording, and analysis. Configure the publishing interval according to the connected server, choose between internal client time or reported server time as the time source, and use security certificates plus authentication when required. You can also inspect channel properties for full transparency and easy integration.

ETHERNET UDP SENDER
The Ethernet Sender allows you to easily transmit measurement data via Ethernet UDP to one or multiple data sinks. An XML file for decoding the data on the receiver side is automatically generated and can be seamlessly imported by OXYGEN’s Ethernet receiver. This powerful combination is perfect for efficiently distributing data to multiple clients for monitoring purposes.
- Maximum output rate: 100 Hz
- End-to-end or Broadcast supported

MODBUS TCP SERVER
Turn your DEWETRON system into a Modbus TCP Server. It stores measurement data and responds to read or write requests from connected Modbus clients (masters), making integration into existing automation and control systems simple and reliable. Choose your preferred statistics mode, define exactly which channels should be transferred, and benefit from polling rates of up to 100 Hz. Finally, save your configuration as an XML file for direct import into OXYGEN’s Modbus TCP Client, ensuring fast and seamless setup.
OPC-UA-Server
Share your measurement data seamlessly with our integrated OPC UA Server. It actively publishes selected channels without waiting for client requests, enabling fast and efficient data exchange. With configurable update rates ranging from 50 to 1000 ms and selectable statistic mode such as last value, minimum, maximum, average, or RMS, it is ideal for automation, monitoring, and system integration tasks.

Standardized Testbed Protocols
SCPI INTERFACE
OXYGEN’s SCPI interface is the powerful tool for data transfer and remote control. The following data transfer possibilities are available when using SCPI (for remote control see below):
- Single value or buffered data fetching
- Data transfer rates up to 10 kS/S supported
- Different transfer formats available for efficient transfer and decoding
XCP OUT
The CAN-OUT is not fast enough for your automotive testbed? Use XCP over Ethernet instead. With this option, the OXYGEN software acts as XCP-slave and serves measurement data to your testbed:
- ASAM standard with automatic A2L generation
- Polling and DAQ-list support (up to 2MS/s) for live data transfer
- Measurement control and software synchronization
- Compatible with Vector CANape and ETAS INCA
ETHERCAT
Does your test bed support only EtherCAT for data and control? No problem! Our TRION-EtherCAT hardware meets your needs:
- Transfer up to 100 measurement channels via EtherCAT
- Up to 1000 Hz update rate
- Typ I/O delay: 200 ms
- Transfer absolute timestamps for post-synchronization
- Automatic ESI file generation
CAN OUT
If you need acquired data on the CAN bus, the CAN-transmit function makes it easy to serve almost any OXYGEN channel cyclically on the CAN bus.
- Supports TRION-CAN and Vector CAN
- Simultaneously send and receive on the same bus
- Selectable transmission interval for each CAN message
- Adjust transmission delay for quality or responsiveness
- Automatic *.dbc file generation for decoding
Proprietary Data Output Protocols
DATA STREAM
With the data stream feature, you can transfer and process data in your own application. Stream raw data and calculated data, like power or statistics, via TCP/IP at high speed to one or more applications.
- Stream data via TCP/IP at full sample rate.
- Configure streams via SCPI interface for full remote control.
- Supports multiple streams with individually configurable channels.
- Example stream decoders available in C and Python.
- Continuous and triggered streaming supported.
- Can be used during acquisition, recording and even during post processing for transferring data from a *.dmd file.
PAK Live Plugin
OXYGEN’s PAK Live Plugin enables live data streaming into the PAK ecosystem from Müller-BBM Vibroakustiksysteme. Effortlessly stream measurement data and integrate your DEWETRON device into the PAK Live Hub for immediate data insight across connected systems.
Remote Control and Automation Solutions
REMOTE CONTROL and AUTOMATION using SCPI
