DATA ACQUISITION & RECORDING
OXYGEN simplifies data acquisition and recording, capturing synchronized data from various sources like analog, digital, CAN, Ethernet, video, and GPS. Advanced synchronization and trigger systems make event-based recording precise and efficient. Plus, easy sensor configuration through our database and TEDS support streamlines your setup.
DATA ACQUISITION
Data acquisition is a core feature of OXYGEN, enabling continuous and synchronous data capture from multiple sources: analog, digital, encoder, CAN, Ethernet, video, GPS, and more.
- Analog data up to 10 MS/s via TRION3
- Digital sensor data, i.e. encoders with automatic angle and RPM calculation
- CAN(-FD) decoding via *.dbc or *.arxml files including J1939 and OBD2, compatible with Vector VN-series
- Ethernet receiver for UDP streams
- Video data from USB or GigE-camera
- Precise GPS data via TRION, GeneSys ADMA, or OxTS RT series

DATA RECORDING
OXYGEN’s powerful data recording is a key feature. All acquired data is stored in one file with a simple touch of the record button. Achieve data rates up to 1 GB/s with the right hardware, ensuring nothing gets lost.
- Review your data during recording with our DejaView feature
- Automatic Statistics Recording (AVG, RMS, MIN, MAX) for all active channels with selectable time interval
- File-split option based on time, events, or absolute time
- Channel-wise sample rate selection
- Channel-specific options for waveform and statistics recording

SYNCHRONIZATION
Precise and synchronous data are crucial. A wide range of synchronization signals are supported to acquire data synchronously with other measurement devices. We support both relative and absolute time synchronization.
- Absolute time synchronization via PTP (IEEE 1588), GPS and IRIG
- Relative time synchronization via PPS and TRION-SYNC-BUS
- Optional synchronization of operating system time

TRIGGER & EVENTS
Our powerful trigger and event system simplifies data recording during events, creating markers, setting digital outputs, or capturing snapshots. Define multiple events with various trigger conditions and actions.
- Benefit from trigger conditions like signal level (positive/negative edge, window) with rearm level, keyboard, or time.
- Use powerful actions like start/stop recording, set alarms with digital output, set markers with text, and capture data snapshots.
- Create fixed-length data files, with measurement stopping after a set time, available in Continuous and Trigger Mode.

SENSOR DATABASE & TEDS
To ensure a correct configuration of your input channels in the dependency of the connected sensor OXYGEN provides different solutions to simplify and accelerate the channel configuration.
- Sensor database to store and apply sensor specific channel settings.
- Read TEDS data and automatic channel configuration; depending on hardware; IEEE 1451.4 Class 1&2 supported.
- TEDS editor to configure TEDS data and update information after calibration.
