There are two module series: The highspeed  TRION3  modules are only compatible with the DEWE3 chassis. But TRION modules can be used in both, DEWE3 and DEWE2 chassis.

Compatibility: The highspeed DEWE3 systems support both, TRION3 and TRION modules. The DEWE2 systems only support TRION modules.

Isolated highspeed inputs

The TRION(3)-18xx-MULTI modules are faster than any other similar module on the market. Some of the keyfacts are:

  • Simultaneous sample rate of up to 5 MS/s
  • Analog bandwidth of 2 MHz
  • Continuous data streaming to application and disk
  • Channel to channel, channel to ground, both isolated (350 V)
  • For DEWE2 (2 MS/s) and DEWE3 (5 MS/s)

Onboard filtering and signal processing

To provide excellent signal to noise ratio and aliasing free data, we equipped the module with:

  • Analog anti-aliasing filter
  • Precise lowpass filter with Bessel and Butterworth characteristic up to 8th order with freely programmable cutoff frequency
  • AC-coupling programmable (0.16 Hz to 100 Hz)
  • Linearization of RTD and thermocouple sensors

Powerful excitation

  • 0.1 to 60 mA with up to 24 V (>20 mA: 10 V)
  • Highest accuracy of 0.02%
  • No power sharing between individual inputs
