DEWETRON Inc. offers your choice of NIST traceable or ISO 17025 accredited calibration.
ISO 17025 accredited means that it’s metrologically traceable to a certified international standard regardless of industry. The measurement uncertainties comply with our 17025 scope of accreditation and are documented on the certificate.
The highly automated calibration of instruments is performed in-house using Fluke MET/CAL software utilizing procedures that are developed in-house. All readings are recorded in the calibration database providing our support and service engineers with a full history of your system on demand. The calibration performed under both of these choices includes a calibration certificate.
Your system is calibrated by our specially trained metrologists to the highest quality standards. As a quality assurance measure, new devices are also factory calibrated before delivery. Although only traceable references are used for this type of calibration, the results are not traceable in the sense of the EA MLA.
Although DEWETRON measurement instruments are manufactured to the highest standards using only the best components, the measurement results may change over time. This is completely normal and is due to the ageing of the parts used. To ensure the integrity of your measurement results, it is essential to have your instrument calibrated at regular intervals. During this process, the measured values of your instrument are compared with a traceable reference and the deviations are documented.
Express NIST calibration can be completed for the next day and Accredited calibration in as few as 3 business days. Scheduling annual calibration of your equipment will prioritize your instruments in the calibration queue and minimize turnaround time.

In general, the user is responsible for defining the calibration interval. This is usually done based on industry or standard requirements or the user’s own risk analysis regarding the use of the instrument. DEWETRON recommends annual calibration and maintenance.
If deviations are detected during calibration (measured value > 70% of specification), DEWETRON products will be adjusted free of charge – without customer consultation. Another calibration is then performed to document the “new” status of the product, and the customer gets 2 certificates – one with the results of how we received it (“as-found”), and one with the results after the adjustment (“as-left”).
If you do not want your equipment adjusted without approval, advance notice is required.
By filling out the RMA form and labeling your package with our RMA number it will help us properly identify what the equipment is for and help with the flow of the process.
