The following information refers to the environmental impact of the product and the product end-of-life handling. Observe the following guidelines when recycling a DEWETRON system:
The production of these components has required the extraction and use of natural resources. The substances contained in the system could be harmful to your health and to the environment if the system is improperly handled at its end of life. Recycle this product in an appropriate way to avoid an unnecessary pollution of the environment and to keep natural resources.
This symbol indicates that this system complies with the European Union’s requirements according to Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). DEWETRON systems and their components can be returned at the end of their service life to a DEWETRON branch, our partner companies or your DEWETRON contact.
We ensure the proper collection and recycling of our packaging materials in accordance with legal requirements.
Our packaging is licensed with Altstoff Recycling Austria AG (ARA).
ARA licence number: 15609
In this way, we actively contribute to the recycling of packaging materials and the conservation of natural resources.
Our products meet the requirements of the European Union’s Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU.
The six restricted substances are present below the specified maximum concentration value by weight in homogeneous materials (see table below). Some RoHS Compliant products may contain lead (Pb) in applications for which exemptions have been granted by the RoHS Directive.
Restricted Substance | Max. Concentration (%) |
---|---|
Cadmium (Cd) | 0.01 % |
Lead (Pb) | 0.1 % |

This declaration is based on DEWETRON’s understanding of the requirements of the RoHS Directive and knowledge of the materials that go into its products. DEWETRON’s bases its knowledge on information provided by third-party suppliers and makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy of such information. DEWETRON continues to take steps to obtain accurate information from suppliers but has not conducted destructive testing or chemical analysis on incoming materials to verify material composition.
The scope of the REACH directive EC 1907/2006 is limited to suppliers or importers, who manufacture, place on the market or use on their own substances or preparations described in the directive in amounts of more than one ton per year.
Since we do not manufacture, place on the market or use on our own such substances in amounts of more than one ton per year, DEWETRON is not in the scope of this directive (and registration or pre-registration).
