Torsional & Rotational Vibration Analysis

Rotational and Torsional Vibration Analysis and Measurement

Measurement of vibrations of rotating machines

Rotating machines and engines create vibration and noise, which is often the cause of fatigue. Rotational vibration is a result of the change in shaft speed during one revolution and torsional vibration is due to angular twist. The measurement of both vibrations requires high resolution angle or time based sampling of rotational speed.

Your benefits

  • Multiple analyses simultaneously
  • Differential counter inputs with programmable trigger levels up to 40 V (e.g. 60-2 CDM)
  • Digital filter at counter input to reduce noise (frequency converter)
