PXI wurde 1997 von <em>National Instruments<\/em> entwickelt, ist heute jedoch ein frei zug\u00e4nglicher und vor allem neutraler Standard.<\/p>\n<p>In diesem Blogpost m\u00f6chten wir Ihnen erkl\u00e4ren, was PXI\/PXIe ist und wo diese Standards zum Einsatz kommen. Um aber zu verstehen wie PXI\/PXIe funktioniert, m\u00fcssen wir zu den Grundlagen der Computersysteme zur\u00fcckkehren.<\/p>\n\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-columns margin-bottom-small\n      \">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row justify-content-center\">\n              <div class=\"col-12\">\n          <h2>Was ist ein Bus?<\/h2>\n          <div class=\"content-size-normal\">\n            <p>Informatiker:innen sind in Fachkreisen unter anderem f\u00fcr ihre F\u00e4higkeit zur originellen Namensgebung bekannt. Auch der Begriff <em>Bus<\/em> fiel dieser Namensgebung zum Opfer. Ein Bus ist ein Transportmittel, mit dem man viele Menschen gleichzeitig transportieren kann. Dabei kann jede Person dort aussteigen, wo sie gerne m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n<p>Ganz \u00e4hnlich verh\u00e4lt es sich auch mit einem Bus in der Informatik. Ein solcher Bus transportiert jedoch keine Personen, sondern Daten oder sogar Strom. Ein Bus \u00e4hnelt in diesem Zusammenhang einem gew\u00f6hnlichen Anschluss. Bei einem gew\u00f6hnlichen Anschluss kann <em>ein<\/em> Ger\u00e4t mit <em>einem<\/em> anderen Ger\u00e4t verbunden werden. Ein Bus erm\u00f6glicht im Gegensatz dazu das Verbinden eines Ger\u00e4tes mit mehreren anderen.<\/p>\n<p>In Computersystemen wird zwischen zwei Arten von Bussen unterschieden:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Systembus: Der Systembus \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt Daten innerhalb des Systems. Der Prozessor eines Computers kommuniziert \u00fcber einen Systembus mit anderen Teilen des Systems, wie beispielsweise dem Zentralspeicher.<\/li>\n<li>Erweiterungsbus: Dieser dient zur Verbindung von externen Komponenten mit dem System. Beispielsweise k\u00f6nnen \u00fcber den Erweiterungsbus Grafikkarten oder zus\u00e4tzliche Speichermodule angeschlossen werden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bis vor wenigen Jahren war PCI einer der am h\u00e4ufigsten verwendeten Erweiterungsbusse. PCI erm\u00f6glichte unter besten Bedingungen eine \u00dcbertragungsbandbreite von 533 MB\/s. Da Grafikkarten und andere Komponenten jedoch eine immer h\u00f6here Datenrate erfordern, ist heutzutage der PCIe-Bus (PCI-Express) g\u00e4ngig. Dieser bietet eine Bandbreite von bis zu 8 GB\/s pro Kanal, also 16-mal mehr als der Standard-PCI-Bus.<\/p>\n\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-columns margin-bottom-small\n      \">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row justify-content-center\">\n              <div class=\"col-12\">\n          <h2>PXI- und PXIe-Standard<\/h2>\n          <div class=\"content-size-normal\">\n            <p>PXI und PXIe sind extra f\u00fcr messtechnische Anwendungen entwickelte Bussysteme, die auf PCI bzw. PCIe basieren. Dies wird auch durch den voll ausgeschriebenen Namen <em>PCI(e) eXtensions for Instrumentation<\/em> klar<strong>.<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27650 aligncenter\" title=\"TRION-2402-MULTI-\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dewetron.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/09\/TRION-2402-MULTI--scaled.jpg\" alt=\"PXI connection\" width=\"300\" height=\"260\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Ein PXI Anschluss<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nObwohl die Namen f\u00fcr PXI und PXIe sehr \u00e4hnlich klingen, unterscheiden sie sich hardwaretechnisch sehr stark. So bietet PXIe aufgrund eines seriellen Bussystems eine deutlich h\u00f6here Bandbreite und geringere Latenz als PXI. Auch sind beide Systeme nicht miteinander kompatibel, au\u00dfer man verwendet sogenannte PXI-Hybridmodule, welche beide Standards unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die Messtechnik von gro\u00dfer Bedeutung sind die im PXI\/PXIe-Bus zus\u00e4tzlich integrierten Timing- und Triggermodule. Durch diese Module ist eine Synchronisation im Nanosekundenbereich oder eine ereignisgesteuerte Messaufzeichnung m\u00f6glich. Zus\u00e4tzlich verf\u00fcgen PXI-Systeme meist \u00fcber r\u00fcttelfeste und feuchtigkeitsdichte Stecker, was sie besonders robust macht.<\/p>\n<p>Vorteile gegen\u00fcber anderen in der Messtechnik verbreiteten Bussystemen sind die hohe Bandbreite, geringe Latenz und gleichzeitig kompakte Bauform. Somit ist der PXI\/PXIe-Standard vor allem f\u00fcr Anwendungen mit hoher Kanalzahl und hohem Datendurchsatz die optimale Wahl.<\/p>\n<p>Ganz allgemein besteht ein PXI\/PXIe-System aus drei Komponenten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Einem robusten und stabilen Geh\u00e4use<\/li>\n<li>Einem Systemcontroller, der den Datenfluss des Systems regelt<\/li>\n<li>Externen Modulen, wie etwa Messkarten oder Stromversorgung<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Kombination von Leistung und Robustheit machen den PXI\/PXIe-Bus zum optimalen und vielseitigsten Bussystem in der Messtechnik.<\/p>\n\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-columns margin-bottom-none\n      \">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row justify-content-center\">\n              <div class=\"col-12\">\n          <h2>TRION- und TRION(3)-Messkarten<\/h2>\n          <div class=\"content-size-normal\">\n            <p>Wir bei DEWETRON stellen hochpr\u00e4zise Mess- und Pr\u00fcfsysteme her.
