DEWE-30 and DEWE-50 Series
DEWETRON front-end systems move the computer to the outside of the box - and let you use your own notebook or desktop computer (or one of ours) for control, setup, and the actual storage of the data. Sometimes a PC-based system makes more sense than an all-in-one solution, so we offer DEWETRON systems in this configuration. There are basically two kinds of PC-based systems:
There are ADC-RACKS and SC-RACKS available in a wide variety of sizes and numbers of channels, and which are compatible with various numbers and combinations of our DAQ, PAD, and MDAQ modules (EPAD modules can be added to any Dewetron system as well, since they are external).
For laboratory use or test bed applications DEWETRON desktop solutions give you the full DEWETRON power at the lowest possible price. We recommend today’s state-of-the-art desktop PCs (P4 or higher) which can provide fast data throughput to the hard disk as well as fast real time operating speed. For distributed data acquisition, DEWESoft can be ordered with a network option for remote control. This guarantees the best signal quality because the analog cable length can be reduced to the minimum. Turn your Notebook to a sophisticated data acquisition system! Depending on your application choose the right interface. Using RS-485 and the DEWETRON PAD Modules, you might acquire 128 thermocouple channels with one DEWE-RACK. Using the fastest DEWE-50-PCI you can acquire each channel with 25 MS/s for transient applications, or 200 kS/s 24-bit for sound and vibration applications. All systems can be delivered with either AC or DC power supply to be used for automotive or lab applications. By using the DEWETRON system clock technology, additional synchronized data can be acquired from video cameras, CAN-bus, GPS and many more.
