Overview - What is DEWESoft?
Most data acquisition software packages allow you to display and record data from A/D boards, and to control signal conditioners. Of course DEWESoft does all this brilliantly, but while others stop there, it's where we are just getting started. Imagine if you could add MORE to your recorded data. Imagine if you could plug one or more video cameras into the system and easily add synchronized VIDEO to your data. Or a microphone for sound. What DEWESoft does...
If you're moving, maybe you're in a car, truck, or train. All cars, trucks, and many trains have a CAN BUS running through the vehicle, carrying hundreds of important channels of data already scaled and in digital form. So why can't most data acquisition systems just tap into that bus and record the data from it? Why should have you to add expensive wheel speed sensors or complicated steering wheel sensors (not easy with the airbags installed today - you have to remove the whole thing). How about GPS? Suddenly we add absolute position on the globe, speed, distance, direction... as well as a time reference source, allowing us to synchronize recordings made anywhere in the world. Starting to get the idea? DEWESoft is the preeminent data acquisition software package in the world today because it can record all these different input types at the same time, and SYNCHRONOUSLY - regardless of their differing sample rates. |
