Dewetron Interface Technology

After all, what is a data acquisition system than an interface? When it comes to analog signals, our signal conditioners in the DAQ, MDAQ, PAD, LPAD and EPAD lines are the interfaces. Our A/D cards serve as the interface between the analog and digital domains. ORION cards have optional CAN-BUS interfaces, so you can read in hundreds of channels from that bus. Cameras are connected by a variety of analog and digital interfaces. So what's left?

There are a few additional important interfaces, as you will see below:

The DEWE-IRIG-CLOCK synchronizes your Dewetron acquisition system to the time code available in most military applications. Available as both an internal card and as an external box to connect to nearly any system.

Selection guide: when you need to sync your system to IRIG!

The DEWE-GPS-CLOCK synchronizes your Dewetron acquisition system to the UTC (universal time code) available nearly everywhere on the plant Earth. Available as both an internal card and as an external box to connect to nearly any system.

Selection guide: when you need to sync your system to GPS!

The DEWE-CRANKANGLE-CPU allows precise angle-based synchronization. This is essential in certain applications, including the DEWE-CA combustion analyzer, as well as stroboscopy, where the sample rate of the data or a camera (or both) need to be synched to a source of vibration or rotation.

Selection guide: angle-based measurement applications, like DEWE-CA and stroboscopy.
