DEWE-31 models
If you don't need channel-by-channel modularity, you can get even more channels into the same space using the DEWE-31 series, configured with our 8 channel MDAQ modules.
We've got MDAQ modules for voltage, strain gage, bridge, and IEPE/constant current accelerometers. But that doesn't mean that your DEWE-31 system would have to consist of 8 channel blocks of these choices: our new secret weapon is the ADAP "smart adapter." Plug one into any MDAQ bridge, strain gage, or voltage channel (with a DSUB connector), and it instantly converts that channel to another type!
ADAP "smart adapters"
We've got ADAPs for these input types:
- thermocouple types J, K, and T
- IEPE/constant current accelerometers and mics
- Multi-range voltages up to +/-200V
- 4-20mA and 1A current inputs (coming 2008)
Like the DEWE-30 series, all DEWE-31 series outputs are conditioned to ±5V, making them the ideal front-end for any A/D card - or as the front-end to another data acquisition system that might be lacking in the area of versatile, robust signal conditioning.
Models to Choose From
There is an ultra-small model which holds one 16-channel MDAQ assembly, and another one which holds two of them, for a 32 channel system.

Perfect with ORION cards!
DEWE-31 MDAQ modules are the perfect frontend for DEWE-ORION series boards. The remote control of MDAQ modules is done via RS-485 bus, which is already included in the connection cable from the DEWE-31 module to the ORION A.D card. The required power supply connector at the DEWE-ORION card is automatically provided whenever a DEWE-31 module is ordered together with the DEWE-ORION card.
