Battery-powered Lunchbox Analyzer
The DEWE-2520-DSA is, built on our incredible battery-powered lunchbox platform the DEWE-2520. Featuring a fold-out keyboard protecting the 15" bright display (touchscreen optional), battery operation for up to 2 hours, 16 to 64 simultaneously sampled 24-bit resolution inputs ... with IEPE/constant current signal conditioning on each input channel. You can also set each input to be a voltage input if needed - or activate the constant current sensor supply to power your IEPE/ICP™ sensors. There's an additional ninth input for tach/RPM signals, allowing advanced angle-based measurement features like order tracking, and more. Using our DAQ or MDAQ series modules, the accelerometer/microphone inputs are robust 24-bit inputs capable of sampling up to 200 kS/s PER CHANNEL. Data are streamed right into the system's hard drive, so recording time is extremely long given today's hard drive storage capacities. As an example, recording all eight channels at 200 kHz consumes 22 GB per hour ... so with today's larger and larger drives you have plenty of recording time! |
Three models to choose from
There are several versions of the DEWE-2520-DSA system, as shown below: DEWE-2520-DSA - utilizing our 1-channel DAQ series modules (normally engineers choose the DAQP-ACC-B or DAQP-CHARGE-A or -B modules for handling accelerometers and mics, but any combination is possible). This system has 16 dynamic analog inputs plus two counter/encoders to allow order tracking, and at least 8 digital inputs in addition. DEWE-2521-DSA - utilizing any combination of up to EIGHT of our 8-channel MDAQ series modules with BNC inputs (normally engineers choose the MDAQ-SUB-ACC or -A for handling accelerometers and mics, but others are available). This system has up to 64 dynamic analog inputs plus two counter/encoders to allow order tracking, and at least 8 digital inputs in addition. DEWE-2522-DSA - a combination of the two models above, choose any 16 DAQ modules PLUS two of our 8-channel MDAQ-SUB modules. This system has up to 32 dynamic analog inputs plus two counter/encoders to allow order tracking, and at least 8 digital inputs in addition. |

Applications
Hammer, Shake Table, and RPM workThe included software provides not only continuous acquisition via DEWESoft, but also the FRF functionality for frequency response function testing. Modal capabilities include both triggered and free-run modes. Use triggered mode when you are using an impulse hammer to excite a broad range of frequencies with distinct "hits" at preselected places on the structure. DEWE-FRF shows you the results of each hit, and provides also hit-reject functionality. Use the free-run mode for shake table testing. DEWE-FRF includes strong yet easy to use analytical capabilities for all your model testing applications. ...and that's an order! |
