DEWETRON Ges.m.b.H. with headquarters in Graz / Austria was founded in 1989. The founders Franz Degen and Herbert Wernigg combined some letters from their last names, and added "TRON" to name their baby, which began with four employees.

Today, DEWETRON is a global operating system solution provider with subsidiaries and representatives all over the world. With more than 150 employees worldwide DEWETRON produces mobile data acquisition solutions for automotive and transportation applications, environmental, research & development.

Well-known companies count among the clientele of DEWETRON. We develop and produces precise signal conditioning modules and amplifiers which is the basis for the flexible and modular PC-based test systems. Software development and programming of complete test bed applications are being realized according to customer requirements.

In addition to flexible logging and recording systems, DEWETRON offers dedicated instruments for dynamic signal analysis, transient recording, distributed data acquisition and combustion analysis.

An additional focus is the increasing importance of energy and power network quality analysis (e.g. EN50160). A special series, the PNA systems, has been developed for this market. In addition, DEWETRON has established a European competence center for power network quality in Graz.

Since 1998 DEWETRON is part of the AUGUSTA Technologie AG, Frankfurt, which is stock listed in the Frankfurt Prime Standard market.
