DEWE-5008 Overview
Benchtop AC/DC IPC with up to 5 PCI Slots
The DEWE-5008 was one of our most popular IPC's as soon as we made it available. It features a screen that folds down very much like a notebook computer, protecting it while the system is not being used (or even during use). The keyboard and trackball are built in, but you can also pop it out and put it on the table next to you (there's a flexible USB cable connecting it). With plenty of slots inside for your PCI cards, and tons of processing power, and a beautiful and bright 17" display, "impressive" is the word we hear a lot as a first - and second - reaction.
What's Inside?
The DEWE-5008 comes with an internal 250 GB HDD, but you can supplement that or replace it with one or two front-panel removable hard drives! One of the removable bays can also be used for an AIT drive as an option. And the DEWE-5008 is one of the very few Dewetron platforms which supports dual Xeon processors as an option.

FIVE PCI Slots Inside!
The DEWE-5008 has FIVE PCI slots (one of them is a half length slot, but the others are full length), so you can add your own cards and turn it into the instrument that you need. The DEWE-5008 is our most portable large format computer. It closes up like a notebook computer - similar to the DEWE-3208 in that respect, but larger to make room for the full-size ATX motherboard inside.
