DEWE-30
Modular signal conditioning chassis
General facts:
- Stand-alone signal conditioning
- Front-ends for existing recorders, loggers …
- Channel expansion for DEWETRON instruments
- 6 models for DAQP or PAD isolation amplifiers from 4 to 64 channels
- 2 models for MDAQ differential amplifiers for 16 or 32 channels
- ±5 V or ±10 V output signals on multi-pin connector or BNC sockets
- Benchtop and 19” rack-mount versions
- Various power supply options
DEWE-30 series signal conditioning chasses are available for all DEWETRON signal conditioning modules and offer a conditioned signal output of ±5 V or ±10 V on BNC sockets or a multi-pin connector when DAQP dynamic isolation amplifier modules are installed. The multi-pin connector can be configured to match any A/D cards connector so that a 1:1 connection of the analog signals by a high quality cable is possible.
For quasi-static PAD series isolation amplifier modules the data output is via RS-485. Mixed DAQP/PAD configurations are of course possible.
Typical DEWE-30-16 back side
- Power supply connector
- One Sub-d-68 socket providing ±5 V output for each of the 16 module slots in the front, in this case configured to match a DEWE-ORION-1616 series cards pinout.
- Additionally this Sub-d-68 connector included the RS-485 interface to setup DAQP series modules and PAD series modules and to transfer the data of PAD series modules.
- 16 BNC sockets which provide the sixteen ±5 V outputs in parallel to the Sub-d-68 socket
- One RS-485 interface
- One EPAD interface
