Modular data acquisition for laptops or common computers
These data acquisition instruments are designed to be connected to your computer (or to one of our ruggedized industrial models) or to an existing DEWETRON data acquisition system.
There is a range of portable units which are mostly used to turn laptop computers into data acquisition systems. And there is a range of bigger high channel count units which are often used to expand existing DEWETRON systems. This is done by cascading several systems to increase the total channel count.
General facts:
- All units connect to your laptop computer via ECARD-34 or ECARD-54
- All units connect to a workstation computer via PCI or PCI Express interface card
- Modular system configuration using isolated DAQP or differential MDAQ modules
- 16, 22 or 24-bit resolution
- Simultaneous sampling
- 100 kS/s up to 1 MS/s sampling rate per channel
- 8 digital I/Os and 8 digital inputs or 2 counter/encoder inputs
- Optional CAN interfaces
- Interface for attaching external EPAD2 modules for additional quasi static voltage or temperature inputs

All models are compatible with DEWESoft software which brings incredible power to data acquisition and enables you to e.g. include video in your measurement data. Basic configuration guideline
- Choose the right model for your application from DEWE-50-PCI, DEWE-51-PCI and DEWE-52-PCI series
- Add one or more ORION-series AD cards and define
- Number, resolution and sampling rate of analog inputs
- Number and features of digital, counter/encoder inputs
- Number of CAN inputs
- Choose the appropriate signal conditioning for analog inputs
