DEWE-5008 industrial PCs are unique platforms with a lot of advantages. The rugged aluminium chassis allows uses under harshest environments.
There is a brilliant 17” TFT display and you can install up to five full-size PCI cards into this unit. USB connectors, Ethernet and DVD +/-RW drives are standard on these systems. For classified work you can add a removable HDD drive - or even two of it. The internal hard disk or solid state disk can stay additionally if required.
The systems are designed for both - laboratory and field usage. High quality production of the systems is complemented by an attractive price.
Removable hard disks & panel
One or even two 3.5“ removable hard disks can be installed into a DEWE-5008. In this case two PCI 32 bit slots and the PCI Express 16x slot are limited to half length. Still three PCI 32 bit slots remain full length.
As the DEWE-5008 is designed for field use, special care is taken in fixing the cards. Rugged guides for full-size cards and a fixing bar hold all installed cards in place safely.
The DEWE-5008 industrial computer even offers a removable panel on the right side for maximum OEM customization. It is quite popular to mount connectors like Lemo, SUB-D or Binder sockets here to e.g. have more rugged connectors like on the cards or provide power supply to some peripherals.
