The DEWE-POWERBOX-12 enables supply of multiple loads out of the vehicle battery up to a total power consumption of 600 W.

 

As supplying high power loads out of the typical 12 VDC board supply results in high currents (50 A for 600 W at 12 VDC) voltage drop through the supply lines must be considered and thus there is a high flexible 10 mm² cable for the main supply line. A simple voltmeter indicates the voltage directly at the terminal board of the POWERBOX-12.

 

For cold start testing an optional backup battery can be attached to the POWERBOX-12 to buffer voltage drops of the vehicle battery.
